The project is meant to be a formal reflection on physical modalities of using virtual experience. The photographic work intends to read the computer visual devices as a surface/landscape on which to cast a glance ranging between a contemplative attitude and a taxonomic-ordering need. The photographic series, by means of a collection of photographs on monitors, documents the different shades of a colour code used in a multimedia graphic area.Physical elements are involved on colour performance (monochrome) so to change the yield of the device offerring a vision not so much of the subject but of the mere act of looking by means of specific devices or surfaces. This study aims to be an emotional exploration of physical conditions of a virtual exploration and to report this particular operation as potentially capable to retain features similar to a contemplative behaviour. The similarity that the images present with visual recordings of spatial exploration formally clarify the attitude of this work which chooses to illustrate the circumstantial daily exploratory/cognitive relationship offered by virtuality. The choice of using the color blue and its code (by means of explicit similarities) has the purpose to accentuate the cosmic perception of the relationship between a glance and multimedia devices.
